DEADLINE: JANUARY 25, 2021 — The Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN) is looking for an associate editor to manage, produce, and upload content for GIJN’s websites.
GIJN is an association of more than 200 organizations in 80 countries dedicated to spreading and advancing investigative journalism around the world.
Interested applicants must also have a background in writing, editing, copy-editing, and proofing in an online news environment.
Experience with digital storytelling tools, editorial project management, photography, and graphics is a big plus.
Applicants must have a minimum of five years experience as an editor in an online news environment
The successful candidate can be based anywhere in North or Central American time zones or have a willingness to work similar hours.
Applicants mush have excellent English writing skills, but any additional languages a major plus
The organizers pay a living wage to workers. However, salary will depend on experience.
The deadline for applications is January 25, 2021.
