2025 AIPS Sport Media Awards open for entries

DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 4, 2025 — Submissions are now open for the 2025 AIPS Sport Media Awards, the most prestigious recognition in international sports journalism. Open to professional journalists and freelancers, the awards honour excellence across photography, writing, audio, and video categories.

Entries must be first published or broadcast between November 5, 2024, and November 4, 2025, and can be submitted in any language. English translations or subtitles are encouraged. A maximum of two entries per entrant is allowed across all categories.

Winners in each eligible category — including Sport Action Photography, Best Column, Short Feature, and more — will receive an original trophy and prize money of USD 5,000. Runners-up will receive USD 3,000 and USD 2,000 respectively. Winners of the Young Reporters categories will earn a career-boosting scholarship at a major international sports event.

Entries are judged by a jury of respected sports media professionals and shortlisted candidates will be invited to the final ceremony in 2026. Submissions must be made via the official website by 10:00 PM CET on November 4, 2025.
