DEADLINE: JANUARY 10, 2025 — The National Centre on Disability and Journalism (NCDJ) is accepting entries for the 2024 Katherine Schneider Journalism Award on disability reporting.
The Katherine Schneider Journalism Award for Excellence in Reporting on Disability is the only professional journalism contest devoted exclusively to disability coverage.
Entries must have been published or aired between July 1, 2023, and December 31, 2024. The awards spotlight issues related to disability reporting.
Journalists working in digital, print, audio and broadcast media are eligible to apply. Entries from outside the U.S. must be in English.
Winners will receive a total of $8,000 in cash awards.
The deadline for applications is January 10, 2025.
