Accountability Amplifiers Initiative seeks story pitches from campus journalists

DEADLINE: ROLLING — The Accountability Amplifiers Initiative seeks story pitches from campus journalists to investigate accountability and transparency issues at the subnational levels.

The initiative is a part of the Next Gen (Campus Reporter) project of the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID).

It will support teams of at least two campus journalists from different states to collaborate to produce stories that identify patterns of corruption and lack of transparency, push for accountability and drive meaningful change.

Selected teams of campus journalists will get financial support of N30,000 per teammate, editorial mentorship and story publication.

All team members must be currently enrolled students with experience in journalism, and the proposed pitches from campus journalists must be gender-inclusive.
