The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers scholarships, in partnership with Deutsche Welle (DW-Akademie Bonn) and the University of Bonn, to applicants from developing countries.
The scholarship covers the cost of living, accommodation, tuition fees and the inbound flight to Bonn for the full-time, four-semester international media studies programme.
Applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent and have at least one year of media experience after obtaining their first degree.
The fellowship is aimed primarily at junior journalists as well as media managers from radio, TV, online and print and staff from communication departments in developing and emerging countries
The deadline for applications is March 15, 2026.
